ABOUT KINGSTON HEATH CRICKET CLUB
Community, family, friendship and a love of cricket are the rock-solid foundations of Kingston Heath Cricket Club - the mighty ‘Burras’.
Founded in 1990, the club consists of mostly Kingston-based families and is very proud of its positive, strong and spirited culture.
The club continues to grow in stature with each new season. With our men's First XI playing in the top division of SECA - Longmuir Shield. And our celebrated women’s program - one of the longest running and most successful in the Bayside area - is the current Spirit of Cricket Award holder for Cricket Southern Bayside - Women’s Competition.
Each week in Season 2024/2025, we will field:
-
4 Senior Men’s Teams
-
2 Senior Women’s Teams
-
Multiple Junior teams
-
Entry Level Cricket Programs for both girls and boys ages 3 - 10.
The Burras’ nest is located at Southern Road Reserve in Mentone. However, this season (2024/25), while this ground is undergoing resurfacing, we have relocated to Aspendale Gardens.
Our temporary home in Aspendale Gardens provides us with the chance, for the first time, to have two teams playing on adjacent ovals. We will turn these facilities into a buzzing hive of activity, with cricket-related events taking place every day throughout the season - from men’s, women’s and juniors’ training sessions during the week, to matches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
We are always excited to welcome new businesses and members of the community to become involved and help us continue to make Kingston Heath Cricket Club such a great place to be. With such a large number of people involved in our club ranging in age from young children to retirees, we hope we can establish a great partnership by helping to promote your business through our great club to all of our members, families and friends.
