2021/22 Registrations are Open
The Committee is delighted to inform you that registrations for the 21/22 cricket season are open. This season, we are fielding 3 Senior Women's teams, 5 Senior Men's teams, a U16 Junior Girls, 4 Junior Boys and one each of a Junior Blasters and Master Blasters squad. We encourage you to register yourself/your family early to get a clear indication of numbers. This will also assist us with team preparation; we can commence training as soon as we get the green light. You will also be eligible for an Early Bird discount if you register before round 1.
You can register now at www.playcricket.com.au for all teams except for the blasters. We are finalising the blaster team date and will confirm in the next few days.
To ensure the club can meet its fixed obligations, the Committee has decided to hold fees at the same level as last year. We also understand that COVID has created financial challenges for some of our members, and we are receptive to supporting our members who have financial difficulties. We want everyone who wants to play, be able to play cricket. To this end, please let the treasurer or club executive committee know if you need assistance.
Like last year we are offering an early fee payment discount for senior players.
If the season is significantly affected by COVID-19 and we cannot get the scheduled number of games completed, then the Committee will look at refunding fees to players. This will be at the discretion of the Committee and will be communicated to you via email and social media.
The Men’s Senior Teams fees are: $320 (full fees)/$270 (concession)
The Women’s Senior Teams fees are: $240 (full fees)/$190 (concession)
The Junior Teams fees are: $155
The Blaster Teams fees are: $99
For 1st year players of the AGGC/SECA junior teams, the price includes a club hat and playing shirt.
The junior blaster fees include a Cricket Victoria provided t-shirt, bucket hat, in your choice of Big Bash team colour and a plastic bat and ball (https://www.playcricket.com.au/cricket-blast/junior-blasters)
The master blaster fees include a Cricket Victoria provided players cap in your choice of Big Bash team colour and an Activity Tracker Watch (https://www.playcricket.com.au/cricket-blast/master-blasters). We also provide a playing shirt to all master blasters new to the club.
You must register via MyCricket. MyCricket registration has been compulsory for several years for the juniors, but in 2020, the seniors must also register via MyCricket. The juniors also must pay their fees via MyCricket. Senior members preferably will also pay via MyCricket, but can also elect to pay into our bank (our bank account: Kingston Heath CC BSB: 633000 Account: 135188241).
Early payment discount:
We are introducing a 10% discount for senior members who pay their fees in full via the MyCricket website before round 1 of the senior season. MyCricket website will automatically calculate the discount if you pay before round 1. Note: this discount is only available when players pay in full via MyCricket (www.playcricket.com.au)
Fees due date:
Whilst fees are due by round 1, a player will be ineligible for selection if they have not paid by Round 4. To avoid this, pay the fees or contact the treasurer to arrange an alternative plan.
Payment Plans for Senior Players:
Last season, MyCricket had the option to make a payment plan – via their website. They have removed this feature – but we are still offering a mechanism to do this. You must contact the treasurer before round 1 if you want to establish a payment plan.
Concession rates for Senior Players:
Full-time students will be eligible for concession rate fees. Please contact the treasurer to arrange for a discounted rate. Junior rates already have the concession built into their fees.
If you are having any difficulty with making payment, please advise someone on the executive committee and a payment arrangement can be organised.
These changes will not prevent anyone from playing if they make contact and communicate with the treasurer or club executive to request alternative arrangements.
Any issues, or to arrange an alternative way to pay, please contact our treasurer, Jason Buck - 0410 300 431 or email@example.com.
Please make sure you let Jason know if you have any concerns or problems – we can be very flexible but we need to know in advance.
