2024/25 Registrations are Open
The Committee is delighted to inform you that the 24/25 cricket season registrations are open. This season, we are fielding 2 Senior Women's teams, 4 Senior Men's teams, and 2 Junior mixed teams (U14 & U16). We will also be running both a mini and junior Blasters program. We encourage you to register yourself/your family early to get a clear indication of the numbers. This will also assist us with team preparation.
You can register now at www.playcricket.com.au for all teams. Cricket Australia (CA) has implemented several critical changes to the program. The biggest change is that all players must be registered by Round 1. This must be done online by the player (senior players) or guardian (junior players). At the time of registration, an insurance fee must also be paid. You must have paid the insurance to pay. PlayHQ also offers payment plans if you would like to establish one. This is done via Paypal. Concession discounts are also available on request (for senior players).
We understand that some of our members may be experiencing financial challenges. We are receptive to supporting our members who have financial difficulties. We want everyone who wants to play to be able to play cricket. To this end, please let the treasurer or club executive committee know if you need assistance.
This year, the club cannot control some additional fees. Cricket Australia has added an insurance and registration fee of $22.50 for senior players (men and women) and $16.00 for junior players. SECA also charges an additional $20 per association (men and boys).
Fees listed below are the total fees (including association and registration fees)
The Men’s Senior Teams fees are: $380 (full fees)/$295 (concession)
The Women’s Senior Teams fees are: $280 (full fees)/$230 (concession)
The Junior Teams fees are: $235
The Blaster Teams fees are: $104
For 1st year players of the boy's and girls' junior teams, the price includes a club hat and playing shirt. The blaster fees include a Cricket Victoria pack (https://play.cricket.com.au/play/cricket-blast/woolworths-cricket-blast)
Play HQ (the new MyCricket):
In most cases, you must register and pay your subs via Play HQ prior to round 1.
Fees due date:
Whilst fees are due by round 1, you cannot play more than one game without registering. If you experience payment hardship, contact the treasurer to arrange an alternative plan.
Payment Plans for Senior Players:
We are still offering a mechanism to do this. This will enable you to spread your payments over a longer period. You must contact the treasurer before round 1 to establish a payment plan.
